Blizz > Wowhead? - Blue Tracker

I'm really impressed at all the new functionality on the WoW website…what surprised me was to see that they have a populated database of items, and are starting to add features to it a la Wowhead:

Is Blizz planning on fleshing this out further, and if so, would you still go to Wowhead if everything you need is here? I realize the backlog of comments on items is one of the main selling points of Wowhead, just as it was with Thotbott, but those can be populated pretty quickly as more and more people use the site.

We do have a lot of features still planned for the new community site and are glad you're enjoying what we've added thus far. :)

That said, Wowhead definitely still provides an invaluable service to this community. If you browse around the Game section of our website enough, you'll even see that we link to Wowhead and WoWPedia often for those who want more information from external database sites.
